Getting started
What is handshake.cards?
It’s a digital business card. You build your card once (name, title, organization, photo, phone, email, social links, custom links), get a sharable URL like handshake.cards/yourname, and a QR code people can scan to save your contact info or open your card. You can also add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
How do I create my card?
Visit handshake.cards and click "Create my card". Sign up with your email, then fill in the editor. Your card is live the moment you save.
How do I share my card?
Three ways:
- Send your card URL (it’s printed at the top of your editor)
- Show the QR code on your public card page — people scan it with their phone camera
- Save your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from your editor; opening the wallet pass shows your QR full-screen
Wallet integration
How does 'Add to Apple Wallet' / 'Add to Google Wallet' work?
From the editor, expand the “Save to wallet” panel and tap the button for your platform. We generate a signed pass with your card details, your QR code, and all of your contact info on the back. Saving updates an existing pass if you’ve added the card before.
The wallet button on my iPhone doesn't work — it shows the wrong wallet.
The editor auto-detects your device. On iPhone, you see the Apple Wallet button only; on Android, Google Wallet only; on desktop, both. If you’re seeing the wrong one, hard-refresh the editor (your browser may have a cached version).
I added the pass and now I can't find it.
Open Apple Wallet / Google Wallet on your phone and scroll your saved passes. To hide or reorder, long-press the pass and pick “Hide” or drag it. The pass is also accessible from your phone’s lock screen if you’ve allowed lock-screen suggestions.

How much is it?
Premium is an annual subscription billed by Stripe. The current price is shown in your editor. You can cancel any time from the Stripe billing portal (link in your editor).
Refunds?
Within seven days of purchase, no questions asked — email us. After that, prorated refunds are case-by-case.
Account
How do I sign out?
In your editor, the top-right button has a sign-out icon. On the iOS app, the same button is there.
I forgot my password.
Click "Reset password" on the sign-in screen. We'll email you a magic link to set a new one. If the email doesn't arrive within five minutes, check your spam folder; if still missing, email support@handshake.cards.
Delete my account
Email support@handshake.cards from the email on your account. Your auth record, card, Connections, and uploaded photos are removed within seven days. We don't keep a copy.
Export my data
Email support@handshake.cards and we'll send a JSON dump of everything we have on you.
